Q: What is netball?

A: Netball is a fast paced team sport similar to and derived from  basketball. Predominantly played by women the world over, it is more popular in  the
Commonwealth countries of Australia and New Zealand. See About Netball page for more information about the game.

Q: Is netball for me?

A: If you enjoy team sports and socializing with like-minded,  enthusiastic women then YES! Netball may be for you. Netball is played by women of all ages and all skill levels. The team sport environment of netball promotes  fitness and friendship.

Q: Can men play?

Absolutely! ECNC currently offers mixed teams where male and female players on the one team and all-mens team as well.

Q: I live in other parts of Washington. Are there other clubs in Washington?

A: At this stage, Emerald City Netball Club is the only netball club in Washington state. We hope to create a play base large enough to form more clubs but it will take time.
