Netball Rules Test - May 17th & May 24th

As part of our club membership, everyone is required to know the rules of the game. To facilitate this learning we agreed that taking a rules test would be beneficial for all members. Members have stated that if everyone improves their knowledge of the rules it will improve the quality of our netball.

You should have all received an email with study materials sent out on April 18th and May 2nd. If you have not received it or if you have any questions, please feel free to let us know.

Members will be handed one of four tests that you have studied on May 17th or May 24th.

Thanks for your support with this initiative.

Spring Season Draft Schedule

Spring season draft schedule is now available here.

A few things to note are:

  • Teams will play each other 3 times through out the season.

  • Games will be played on May 24 (Memorial Weekend).

  • Due to the unavailability of Starfire Sports the venue for games on April 26, May 17 and June 07 will be Ballard Community Center.  A venue for May 03 is still be sourced.

  • The Seattle Parks & Recreation Demonstration Day on June 14 is a big event for the club. It is proposed that we will play games at 3 different Community Center locations throughout the city promoting netball as 'a game the whole family can play' with the ultimate goal being to get a youth league started in the Fall. FULL CLUB PARTICIPATION WILL BE REQUIRED TO MAKE THIS SUCCESSFUL.

Are you interested in coaching or umpiring?

If any one is interested in coaching or umpiring this season please let me know. We have club members experienced in these areas and we will be happy to organize teaching sessions.

This year spreading the netball word to schools is high on the priority list. If anyone can assist with teaching in schools either during school hours or as an after school program please let me know as it would be nice to have a standard format that we are teaching.

If interested, please contact us.
