In the meantime, we've already competed in 2 tournaments this Fall! On Sep 16th we were in Los Angeles where we came in 2nd place! The following weekend we were in Whistler, Canada where we came in 3rd place. A fun time was had by all - come out and join the fun!!

Spring Season 2017
We had another great season, starting with our youth training that began in March and continued through June. We competed in a youth tournament in April in Barriere, BC with other teams from Vancouver and Alberta, Canada. We had a blast! We then took our older youth team (15-18) to San Francisco in June where we competed with some tough mixed teams. Another fun tournament where we brought home the Sportsmanship trophy!

Our season culminated with our Annual Battle in Seattle tournament hosted by our club. With 8 teams playing from around the West Coast, it was an incredible day with fun had by everyone. Congrats to First place team Star Waves, 2nd Place team Vancouver Comets, and 3rd Place team Emerald City Needles.

Spring Season 2016

We are so excited that our club continues to grow. With growth comes a few extra costs that we could use your help with! This year we are buying new uniforms and will need to invest in new portable posts. If you can spare a few dollars, we would be so grateful for your help! Please check out our Go Fund Me page.

We were thrilled to have a successful month long pre-season taster indoors at Garfield Community Center in February. We had a super turn-out and got to meet lots of new players. In April, we made a trip to Vancouver to participate in the BC Netball Tournament. We had a blast and look forward to some great netball this year!

Our Battle in Seattle summer tournament was a great success! We were so pleased to host 8 teams this year and loved seeing new and familiar faces at our event. Congrats to Comets Netball Club in Vancouver, BC, for taking home another trophy. Kudos go out to the runners-up, San Francisco Stars, and to the LA Waves for taking home the Sportsmanship Award.

We can't wait to attend the annual Netball America Championships in LA this year where we hope to hold on to our Mixed Division I title! The dates are Nov 4-6. Stay tuned for more information. If you would like to attend with us, please let us know!

Fall Season 2015
We had a fantastic Fall season, complete with a trip to Whistler to compete in their annual Tournament and a trip to Dallas, TX to compete at the Netball America US Open Championship.

It was a wet weekend in Whistler, but that didn't deter our fun. We were honored to win the Sportsmanship Award! The prize was a fun-packed trip to the Treetops Adventure Course which was spectacular. We got to spend several hours hanging out in the treetops doing mind-bending feats. Thanks to the Whistler club for giving us this fantastic prize.

We headed to Dallas, TX for the Netball America US Open Championships knowing that it was going to be a tough weekend. However, all of our hard work and determination paid off this year as we are the Mixed Division I Champions!! We are planning to hold onto this title as we head to the championships in LA next November.

Spring Season 2015

We started the season early with a trip to Vancouver to participate in the BC Netball Tournament. We had a blast even though we faced some pretty tough competition.

We had an excellent spring turn-out and were pleased to see the club continue to grow. Numbers were high throughout the season and netball friendships have blossomed. We also got very fit as everyone's infectious enthusiasm has kept us regularly on the court! Let's keep this momentum going through next season!

Fall Season 2014

Our club took a team up to Whistler, BC on Sep 27th to participate in their first annual netball tournament. It was an exciting event hosted by a great club. We were thrilled to play with 7 other Canadian teams (2 from Whistler, 4 from Vancouer, and 1 from Victoria)! Congratulations to team Vancouver United for taking home the cup.

We were also excited to send a team to the 2014 Callidus Cloud U.S. Open Netball America Championships in Miami this year. The event takes place every year in the first weekend of November. Join us in 2015 as we head to Dallas!

Spring Season 2014

Our season got off to a great start on May 3rd. If you missed it, don't worry it's not too late to join us! We encourage people to drop-in and get to know us. Contact us for more information and visit our Facebook page for weekly updates. Our current league dates are listed to the right under "Upcoming Events".

We held our 3rd Annual Battle in Seattle Tournament on July 12th and were pleased to host 3 teams from Canada! Our thanks go out to the Vancouver Comets, Vancouver Asteroids, and Whistler Wildcats for helping to make this another successful event. Congratulations to the Comets for taking home the trophies this year! Stay tuned for photos!

Sadly, our Spring/Summer season is coming to a close. Be sure to join us on July 26th as we will be playing our last games and then heading to Canyon's in Redmond to celebrate the end of a great season. Stay tuned for Fall Season updates!

In Other News:
One of our members, Suzanne Pigott, has been having a tough time lately and we would like to encourage our friends and members to help them out if you are able. A few weeks after their second son was born in March, her husband fell ill and was diagnosed with Leukemia. As he was the sole earner and now unable to work, this website will help towards their medical bills and childcare cost. Please consider giving if you can.

Spring Season 2013

Picture
What a fantastic Spring season we had!  It was full of so much sun and was fabulous to play all spring and summer long. We hosted 2 great tournaments and had 4 teams battling it out all season long.

We also managed to get a step in the door to THREE elementary schools around the area (Redmond, Sammish, and Edmonds).  We were so pleased to introduce the kids to netball and they LOVED it, too. We hope to be invited back and introduce it to even more schools!

Congratulations to Craig's Unstoppable Team 4 for winning the Season! It was a thrilling final with Michelle's team Storm playing hard, but it wasn't enough for them in the end. We would like to thank all the Captains for their excellent job throughout the season.  We couldn't do what we do without you!  Awards for the season were:
MVP's:
Storm (Captain Michelle) : Claire Evans
Blue Angels (Captain Emma/Karen) : Yi Jie Huang
Team 3 (Captain Carrie/Melissa) : Pablo Medeiros
Team 4 (Captain Craig) : Nathan Ballinger

Club Person of the Season : Michelle Subrattie

Finally, a BIG thank you to all the players for making our club so fabulous!

Congratulations to our Season Winners, Lightning!  Under the guise of a different name, Captain Emma still managed to take her team to the finals and score first place!  Well done to Emma and all the players on her team.  Second place was Team Alex who actually led the season in points, but lost to Team Lightning in the finals.  Well played to your team, Alex!  Coming in third place was Team Carrie (we really should work on our team names next season) who played their heart out each game.  You'll get 'em next season!

Congratulations to Melissa Medeiros & Carrie Kennedy for being the Club Person(s) of the Season.  You guys rock!

We were pleased to be able to send 2 mixed teams to the Callidus Cloud U.S. Open Netball Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Everyone played fantastic and had a great time.  Melissa & Carrie even managed to obtain their C Badge umpire qualifications! Congratulations to Emerald Netballers for taking 4th place and Seattle Needles for 7th place. But best of all (besides meeting Elvis) was that BOTH of our teams received the Team Sportsmanship Award!
