Our First Game Report - July 22nd 2006
On a hot Seattle morning on Saturday July 22, 2006, a group of keen and dedicated netball players, and supporters, made their way to Marymoor Park for history in the making....Seattle and Emerald City Netball Club's first ever netball game!! A great morning was had by all and players need to be commended for the spirit in which the game was played and for the skills displayed. The teams were:

It was a closely contested game with the Evergreens coming out on top by 2 points in the end. Well done ladies!
Both teams looked and played the part which attracted some attention and interest from fellow park uses. One person even commenting "I think they are playing rugby"!!
