WHAT'S NEW? (Website best viewed in IE) President's Retirement and New President Appointment
At a Special Meeting of the Board of Directors of Emerald City Netball Club held on May 30th, Lisa’s resignation from the post of President was formally accepted. At the same meeting, it is my pleasure to announce that Karen Horsfield was appointed to serve as the new President of the club, effective from May 30, 2008. Please join me in thanking Lisa for her monumental efforts to get the club to where it is today and in extending your support to Karen as she leads the club through the next phase of growth.
If you have any comments on this appointment or how the Executive Committee or the Board of Directors can serve the club better, please get involved and let your opinions be known.
Thank you, Board of Directors |

| Are you interested in coaching or umpiring?
If any one is interested in coaching or umpiring this season please let me know. We have club members experienced in these areas and we will be happy to organize teaching sessions. This year spreading the netball word to schools is high on the priority list. If anyone can assist with teaching in schools either during school hours or as an after school program please let me know as it would be nice to have a standard format that we are teaching. If interested, please contact us. |
